Hi. Thanks so much for the additional info. On Eva Rinkel Riegert's birth certificate it has birth date of 2/11/1840 so the marriage date coincides. It has her father as Theabold from Germany and her mother unknown, birthplace is also Germany. The German heritage makes me think that the St. Paul's Church must have been Lutheran or Protestant. Also the fact that they lived in St. Louis County makes me lean toward the one in Creve Coeur. The address next to undertaker on the certificate is 1031 Central _____. (Can't make out last word. Their daughter Julia is buried in St. Monica's Cemetery in Creve Coeur. I think she was Catholic but she married Emile Delaloye who was of that religion. Interesting that Eva's death certificate is signed by Mrs George Riekert. The date of the certificate is 1929 and her hand writing is very shaky so she could have been very old. However, Eva was 88 when she died so if it were her daughter-in-law, she could have been in her 60's and possibly frail. I now live in Columbus OH but get back to St. Louis a couple of times a year. Both of our families still live there. I will follow up on these leads. I love that County Library! Thanks so much for your time and effort. I really appreciate your kindness. Sharon
