I don't want to complicate things, but the Ringo family History reflects: Zerilda Jane Ringo, born about 1839 in Montgomery Co, Ky,dau of Christina Ringo (father unknown). Zerilda married James L. Willis before 1859. Census of 1840 Montgomery Co, Ky, with her grandmother; Elizabeth Ringo. The 1850 census of Montgomery Co, Ky has her living with Rebecca Cornwall. In 1868 she sells share in the lands of Elizabeth Ringo to her brother Soloman Ringo. St. Viths chruch records in Montogmery Co, Ky, show Christia Ringo had two daughters; Zerilda Jane Ringo and Nancy Ann Ringo.
This line of the Ringo family became complicated due to the death of Philip Ringo in Loudoun Co, Va in 1785 at the age of 35. He and his wife, Margaret "Peggy" last name unknown, had 7 children. Following Philip Ringo's death, Peggy and the children moved in with Philip's father Henry Ringo in Montogomery Co, Ky. Henry Ringo died in 1803.
