Jacob RINGER, born 16 Mar 1791 married Magdalena DERR 23 Oct 1813 in Frederick Co., Maryland. Along with their daughter Elisabeth, born 25 Aug 1814 in Frederick Co., Maryland, and others from the church traveled to Indiana -- first to what is now called the New Harmony area, and then to the Fall Creek area of Marion Co., Indiana.
On 17 Mar 1836 Elisabeth married William James CLOW in Marion Co., Indiana. He is listed as one of the original members of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church on 6 Aug 1836. William James CLOW died 25 December 1853 and is buried in the old cemetery.
Elisabeth/Elizabeth RINGER / CLOW was listed as part of the congregation on 1 Jun 1856.
In 1859 she moved to Noblesville, Hamilton Co., Indiana with some of the seven children. She died 18 Nov 1862 in Noblesville, Hamilton Co., and her burial place is unknown to me.
I have some information on the three male children of the marriage (Jacob Rodney, Abraham William and William T.), the married names of two of the females (Rebecca Elizabeth and Sarah Jane) but nothing on the other two females - Louisa M. and Susanna Magdelena.
