Sharon,

I think this Viola Ione Ring is the daughter of John B Ring. 1880 census has Viola as daughter age 4. This John B. Ring is the son (I think) of Alexander Ring and Elizabeth Hayward. John was born in Belmont Co., Ohio. This looks to be John's family bible, and is most likely his family, plus anyone else he was close too.
I think Alexander Ring is a brother to a Samuel Ring, who I am trying to track down.
John and Hannah had the following children (census);
Orloff bc 1856, Alexander bc 1858, Theodore bc 1865, Lydia bc 1867, Mary bc 1867, Viola bc 1876.
The 1880 census has a Sarah Marshall listed with John. She is listed as step daughter (s daughter) on census.
In 1860, John is listed with his father, 1870 census does not show a Sarah. I do not know how Sarah is related.
What a treasure you have in this bible.
Carol
