I have Porters in a Ballard family tree from Holy Cross, Kentucky. I have a Sallie Victoria Riney in my family tree. She is my great-maternal grandmother born 1856, we think in Kentucky, probably Washington County. She's buried at St.Rose Cemetary outside Springfield. She died in 1945 and was married to Henry Smith 1854-1901. Her parents were Joseph Walter Riney 1823-1898 and Mary Theresa (?) 1830-1923. I don't know if this is the same family you're looking for. There are a lot of "Rineys" buried at St.Rose. I'm still trying to find Josepht Walter Rineys parents but have had little luck. I will be checking Church documents this year so I'll keep you in mind. These families moved back and forth between Washington, Marion, Nelson and Meade Counties. They are buried at Holy Cross, St.Charles (outside Lebanon), St.Francis, St.Rose etc.
