My Mother's maiden name was Rines. I can find nothing using the info I remember from her. Her father was Leonard Rines and his death cert. says he was from Maitland Nova Scotia. He had many sibs but no subsequent male heirs with Rines name. He married Mabel Branson from Iowa and they moved west living in both Victoria, B.C. and Seattle area. His father was supposed to be a sea captain and the family had emigrated from Scotland to Nova scotia and were recipients of a land grant but I've hit a brick wall there as well. Any info would be welcome!
