Hi,
Hope the following info might be of some help to you.
James Aughton Rimmer and his family lived at Wesley Manse, Brampton, Cumberland (now Cumbria) in 1891. The following family members appear in the 1891 Census:
Jas A Rimmer, head of household, age 49, Wesleyan Minister, born in Southport, Lancashire
Karen* Rimmer, wife, age 48, born in Felmingham, Norfolk
* short for Kerenhappuch
Lydia Rimmer, daughter, age 16, born in Marsden, Yorkshire
William Rimmer, son, age 16 (unclear on Census return), born in Bodmin, Cornwall
Susanna Rimmer, daughter, age 10 (unclear on Census return), born in Bodmin, Cornwall
Martha Rimmer, daughter, age 8 (unclear on Census return), born in Pontypridd, Glamorganshire
I'm about to buy Wesley Manse and have been researching its history - when it was built, who has lived there over the years, etc.
