WILLIAM LEONARD RILEY
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Bettes Funeral Home in Healdton for WILLIAM LEONARD RILEY, 66 employee of French’s Pastime Parlor, who died in the hospital at Ardmore Wednesday morning, following a stroke. Burial will be at Grady cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be JESSE FRENCH, IRA VERNON, H. A. JACKSON, H. L. HAWKINS, TROY HOLDER and PETE MILLER.
WILLIAM LEONARD RILEY was born Feb. 8, 1892 at Van Buren, Arkansas and died June 5, 1957 in Ardmore. He married Miss LULA SAWFORD at Fort Smith, Arkansas and had lived in this community since 1929, prior residence was at Mulberry, Arkansas and Kiowa. He was a retired farmer, but had been employed for some time at French’s Pastime Parlor. He attended the Baptist church. Surviving are four sons, RAY of Wilson, DOYAL GENE of San Gabriel, California, OLAN C. of Crozbyton, Texas, HASKELL of Hobbs, New Mexico; four daughters, Mrs. DOROTHY HANKS of Gabbs, Nevada, Mrs. ROY TADLOCK of Healdton, Mrs. FLOSSIE GILMORE of Gueda, Kansas, Mrs. LOIS YOUELL of Baxter Springs, Kansas and 19 grandchildren.
