Jan,
I have corresponded with you before.I have 2 Rilea connections to mention.
My husband's gg grandmother was Margaret Rilea who m. William Naylor. She was b. in 1829 and d. in 1858.They lived in Brown County, Ohio. Her parents may have been John Rilea and Frances Wisby.I have no other information on these people.Does anyone know any more on this line?
Also, I have corresponded with you on the Purdums of Southern Ohio.I would like to know if anyone has any information on an Arabella Purdum, b. 1850 who may have m. Thomas F. Rilea, who was b. 1847. I have Arabella's being a daughter of Aaron Purdum and Nancy Waters, both of whom are bur. in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Brown Co., Ohio. These people were also in Brown County, Ohio.I have Thomas F. Rilea's being a nephew of my husband's Margaret Rilea Naylor.
Also the Revolutionary War soldier, Richard Rilea, of Brown County, Ohio is bur. in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, (out in the boondocks) just South of Sardinia, Ohio.
Do you have any information on these people?
Thanks!Barb
