James Oliver Rigsby
was born in April, 1895 (where unknown) and died in 1977 in
Shreveport, LA.
We don't know much about his early life or exactly where he came
from. The only thing he ever told us was that his parents died when
they were young, so they (he and an older brother is all we know)
stayed with an uncle for awhile. But at some point, when Grandad
was about 10 - 12 years old, he and his brother just took off walking
from somewhere around the Memphis, TN area south to
Louisiana/Texas. Somewhere along the way they separated and
never made contact again.
[The uncle is R84 Henry M. The older brother is Henry C. Henry M
may be a grandson of R06 Luke. Another possibility is that they
are from R71 Thomas.]
