dIANA, thank you so much for your message.I am sure that the Riglers are allconnected in some way to descendants from eastern europe.I found a Rigler dated back to 1690 descended fromAustria.I am sorry that I cannot scan you a photo of my great grandfather but I do not have the capability on my internet connection and the photo i snot in my possesssion.I am hoping to learn more about my roots from an aunt who lives in London and I will let you know of any new leads. It is frustrating in my search for my ancestry as my family did not attach much importance to their heritage, and therefore I do not have the dates of birth I require to successfully conduct a search of my family history.However. I feelI am adicted to finding out more and if I cannot come up with more info from my aunt, I hope to be able to searchrecords held at .st .catherines House, London.[ One final note,it is only a rumour but my other aunt suggested that our family name of Rigler was shortened from VohnRigler in the midst of WW2 in order to take away the GermanicDescent of the name
