I think we are certainly talking about the same people. Tilghman Howard Rightsell was married to Amanda Catherine Day. They had several children, one being Lewis Matson Rightsell(I have his Death Certificate). Lewis Matson Rightsell married Mattie Kingery and had 3 children, Lewis, Roy, and Emma Rightsell. Emma was born 1/1904 and died 1/19/05. Mattie died in 1906 at the age of 30. He then married Gertrude Walters in 1907, but that ended in divorce in 1921. He then married Minnie Mustard Mitchell the same year. She had 5 children from a previous marriage that had ended 2 years before with her husband's death. Lewis Matson and Minnie had 3 sons together. One died at birth. I haven't been able to ascertain the name of that boy. The other 2 sons were Don Robert Rightsell (my father) and Edward L. Rightsell. All of Lewis Matson's children by Mattie Kingery and all of Minnie's children by her first husband are dead now. The two children of Lewis and Minnie are also dead. The last was my father, Don, on Aug. 15, 1999. Roy Rightsell married one of his step-sisters, Anna. They had 2 girls, Ruthanne and June. They are still alive and live in Brazil, Indiana. That is where I grew up. I remember Uncle Roy. He was such a neat man. So funny and delightful to be around. He died in Dec. 1980. I don't really remember uncle Lewis. I think I met him a couple of times, but that was when I was a very little girl. I thought he had a son whose first name started with an O. I can't remember what it was. That is what I have. I have researched this stuff for about 18 years. I even went down to Greenville TN and found out about Tilghman's father, George Rightsell,Jr. and his father, George Rightsell,Sr. I am trying to find out about a couple of brothers who came over to America from Germany. I think one of the brothers is George Sr.'s father. The name used to be spelled Reitzel. This is taking quite a long time to verify. If you need any info, I would be happy to give you more.
