My great Grandmother was Nancy L. G. RIGGIN, daughter of Benjamin C. RIGGIN (RIGGINS) and Lucinda. He died before the 1860 census taken in Mississippi.
Lucinda is on the 1880 census for Grayson Co., Texas with my great grandmother, Nancy. They are shown living with, Sarah Elizabeth (RIGGIN)CORNELISON, her husband, George, and their children.
Lucinda is listed as Mother-in-law and Nancy is listed as Sister-in-law. Nancy was 23. She was born June 1857.
Nancy marrried Gilbert Adam LUMAN about 1882. He is also on the 1880 census for Grayson Co., Texas. He was the son of Cornelius C. LUMAN and wife #1 Martha Ann PURNELL and older brother of James Washington LUMAN.
Nancy and Gilbert had 4 children,

I have been told that Nancy and Gilbert had 8 children. The 1900 census haas only 4 children being born.

Nancy died after the 1900 census was taken, in a wagon accident. She was about 55, when she died. Gilbert married twice more after she died.
I have photos of Nancy when she was 15 and when she was an older woman and know more of the story of her death. I have also seen a photo of Sarah Elizabeth and her family

I would like to know more about Nancy, her parents, Benjamin C. RIGGINS and Lucinda, his parents, Laban RIGGANS and Dorcus ANDERSON.
