Anna Saul Riffe, 80, Bluff City, TN, went to be with the
Lord on Thursday, March 11, 2010, in the Wellmont Hospice
House.
She was born March 19, 1929, in Partlow, VA, a daughter of
the late Samuel Highley and Emma Gertrude Humphries Saul.
She has lived in the Bristol area since 1980 and was a
faithful member of Bluff City Baptist Church.
In addition to Anna's parents, she was preceded in death
by her sisters, Frances Saul and Dorothy Saul; and her
brothers, Samuel Saul, James Saul and Thomas Saul.
Survivors include husband of 59 years, Kendall S. Riffe;
daughter, Kenda Sue Watkins and husband Stanley; son,
Kevin Allan Riffe and wife Denise; step-son, Phillip
Donald Riffe and wife Janet; granddaughters, Allison Ann
Randall and husband Phil, Melissa Michelle Riffe; several
step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Doris
Stevens McCracken; brother, Charles 'Pat' Saul and wife
Katherine; sister-in-law, Beulah Saul; and several nieces
and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all of her
neighbors on Brooklea Circle for the blessings and love
they have shared. Truly, you are all family. Also, a
special thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff of Wellmont
Hospice House and Bristol Regional Medical Center, 2 West.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.,
prior to the service.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 14, 2010, at
4 p.m., in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Carrier
officiating.
The burial will be held Monday, March 15, 2010, at 11 a.m.,
in the Sunrise Cemetery, Bluff City, TN. Honorary pallbearers
will be nephews and great-nephews.
