Hi Julieann, What information on Felix have you found? If he lived in Schuyler Falls and then it was probably the family I am searching also. My Felix was born in between 1830 and 1833. I have found his last name on records spelled Riel, Reil. Reel, Real. Rielle and now Ryel. He married Elizabeth Gigger (sometimes spelled Giguiere). My Felix had a son named Felix born 1856 or 1857 in VT. The family lived in VT between 1857 and 1862 before settling in Schuyler Falls, Clinton, NY. His son Felix later went by the name Peter in some of the censuses. It was probably his middle name. They had a son named Fred born in 1864. His name is sometimes Alfred in earlier records. Probably his birth name. The 1880 free census has the family spelled REEL. Back in 2003 you sent me the information from the Dannemora Mission Cencus taken in Jan. 24, 1865 with their named spelled Rielle. Any new information you found would be appreciated. Thank you!
