Diane,

Victoire is not directly related to Louis Riel, but if you follow the ancestors from her you will find only one Riel dit l'Irlandais, you are from Jean-Baptiste son of Jean-Baptiste dit l'Irlande line and Louis is from his son Jacque Michel Riel son of the same l'Irlande but different lineup.
