Does anyone know what indian settlement existed in this area in the 1800... (lac ste. Marie)
Cause my dad's mom was born there.

b, 1885 Victoire(Victorie)a RIEL and a big family of 13 or 14 children that I was told by family were related to Louis Riel. think the great grand fathers even lived there.
