Hello Froll:

My 4th great-grandparents were from Albersweiler, Bergzabern, Rheinpfalz, Germany. They were Lutherans also.
Joh. Jacob Riedel, born 1749 and Margaretha (Winter)Riedel

My 3rd great-grandparents: George Jacob Riedel, born 1777 in Albersweiler, and Anna Margaretha (Hauss)Riedel. Immigrated with their children in 1840 to Crawford County, Ohio.

My 2nd great-grandparents: Peter Gieger and Anna Maria (Riedel)Gieger, born 1811 in Albersweiler.

My 1st great-grandparents: Jacob Burkey, born in Albisheim, Kirchheimbolanden, Rhein-Beiren, Germany, and Margaret Geiger, born in Chatfield, Crawfordkm, Ohio.

My paternal grandparents: Albert John Grimmer, born 1882 in Kleineislingen, Donau, Wuerttemberg, Germany, and Katherine Matilda (Burkey)Grimmer, born 1882 in Chatfield, Crawford, Ohio.

My parents: Edward Albert Grimmer, born 1910, Bucyrus, Crawford, Ohio, and Mary Elizabeth Kumley, born 1910, Lagro, Wabash, Indiana.
