Hello, Tom,
I am so pleased to know that our old friend Bill had a son that is interested in genealogy. We knew him from his life in CT, when he was teaching, and then later on. The last time we saw him was when he was lecturing on the Civil War at a meeting in Woodbury, CT, near where he used to live. THis was after he had some serious health issues.
WE had many good times with your dad, he was a kind and gentle man, and I was very sad when we learned of his passing.
