Hello Thomas,

I replied to this message in 2001 before I had much info. I was just going back and rereading old messages and now I think we have a big connection! I recently found out that My GGGgrandmother's name was Sarah Fleming. Her first husband was ??? Lohr/Lore and her second was Frederick Reitinger (not Riesinger as was on her death certificate).
Her sons with Frederick were:
Albert George Henry Ridinger bapt. May 18, 1858
Charles Reitinger possibly b. Nov 1861
Hiram F. Reitinger b. Aug 1866

I have Frederick's death as May 6, 1890 and Sarah's death as Dec 21, 1907. Her obit in the Star and Sentinel says she is buried in Evergreen - but Evergreen dosen't have it in the database! Possibly your story about her being buried in the Natl. Cem. is why! I spent last weekend up there and the last stop I was going to make was the Natl. Cem. to try to find Sarah's brother who is buried there and try to find out if Frederick Reitinger was there but the thunderstorms hit and I had to leave.

I was deadended on this line for 8 years. Please let me know if this is the same family.
Irene Bailey
