I am a Ridinger from Tennessee. I don't know very much about my father's family but I have always been very interested in finding more Ridingers. We were the only Ridingers in the part of Tn where I grew up. My grandfathers name was James H. Ridinger (b. 1859 -d. 1934)
My grandmothers name was Lettie A. Ridinger (b. 1865 - d. 1949). My fathers name was George Marvin Ridinger (b. 1900 - d. 1984). My father did not talk much about his family. I never knew my grandprents. He had one sister (Ethel-from Carroll County, Tn) and one brother (Calvin-from Carroll County, Tn but moved to New Jersey). My dad was originally from east Tn somewhere near Murphysboro, Tn. Any information you have on the Ridingers would be appreciated.
