Did you ever find any more information on John Franklin Reynolds and Sarah Estelle Ridgway?
I think I have some good news for you (mixed with a little bad news as well)...I did a search of the 1920 Census Index for Monroe & Shelby Counties and I believe I've located them for you in Jefferson Twp., Shelby Co., Missouri.
Unfortunately, Ancestry.com's Online Image of the page is not very good and quite difficult to read, but maybe you can go to a library near you and obtain a better copy on microfilm...Here is the best I can do, however.
From 1920 Missouri Census, Jefferson Twp., Shelby County, Roll T625_963, Page 2A, ED 170, Image 738 enumerated on Jan. 22-23, 1920...Dwelling 30, Family visited 34 on lines 16 thru 23:

REYNOLDS, Frank (37 or 38), farmer, he & parents born MO
REYNOLDS, Stella (4?), wife, she & parents born MO
REYNOLDS, Albert (1?), son, born MO
REYNOLDS, difficult to read may be Gwen or Geneva? (13),
daughter, born MO
REYNOLDS, Roland (??), son, born MO
REYNOLDS, Raymond (11), son, born MO
REYNOLDS, ___?____ (?), son, born MO
REYNOLDS, ___?____ (?), daughter, born MO

If you or someother reader has access to Ancestry.com Census Online service, you may find the above in Jefferson Twp., Image 3. Maybe you have better eyesight than I do and can figure it all out...It's a very light reproduction.

Rod G., Austin, TX.
