Ridges in North Devon (Bideford and East Putford)

Hey,
My great-grandmother was a Ridge from Ohio (she later moved to New York and Utah), and her grandparents, John Ridge and Elizabeth Beers, came from North Devon, England, near Bideford. John's parents were John Ridge and Grace Allin. I am planing a trip to England and visit this area where my family came from. If anyone has any additional information, that would be great!
