There is a possibility we come from the same line. My maiden name is Ridens but my dad believes that the spelling was changed by other members from time to time over the years. I know very little about my paternal family line but my dad has said that William is a family name...he was born William (Kenneth) Charles Ridens, his dad was William Russell and his granddad was William Albert. I plan to visit with my dad soon and can try to get some more details. My dad was born in Rising Star, TX and his grandparents died and are buried there.
