Mary Ann Riddle + John Horrell
Posted by: Mary Monhardt (ID *****2472) Date: November 03, 2008 at 11:54:07

I have just found that my great uncle, John Horrell, Jr. b. 1830 Redruth, Cornwall, England

was married to Mary Ann Riddle b. 1829, Mary Tavy, Devon, England, daughter of William Riddle b. 1801, Redruth, Cornwall, England and seen in census 1841,1851 Sanders Row, Redruth, Cornwall, England and Grace b. 1803 Mary Tavy, Devon, England
April 2, 1854, Redruth, Cornwall, England.

Her siblings:

Patience b. 1826 Tavistock, Devon, England
George b. 1827 England
John b. 1829 England

Mary Ann b. 1831 Mary Tavy, Devon, England married to John Horrell,b. may 16, 1830, Newlyn, Cornwall, England son of John Horrell b. and Delilah Jane

William b. 1833 Mary Tavy, Devon, England
Thomas b. 1834 Mary Tavy, Devon, England
Charles b. 1835 Redruth, Cornwall, England
Elizabethb. 1836 Redruth, Cornwall, England
Richard b. 1837 Redruth, Cornwall, England
Caroline b. 1838 Sanders Row, Redruth, Cornwall, England
Grace b. 1840 Sanders Row, Redruth, Cornwall, England
Maria b. 1841 Sanders Row, Redruth, Cornwall, England

John Horrell had a sister Anna Maria Gaved-Horrell married to John Bray. She lived in Sanders Row with her daughter Elizabeth and the family immigrated to Ispeming, Michigan where they were miners.

I am seeking information on John Horrell, Jr.'s immigrations as he is not found in England between 1851/1861 so he must have immigrated between those times. His sister immigrated in 1863

Any information would be so appreciated and gratefully acknowledged.
