Hi!
I'm also looking for more information on the Riddlespurgers, Rietelspergers who later became Riddlesbargers.
I am interested in any further information on Jesse Riddlesberger born in 1800. He may be the son of Samuel (1773) and Sarah. Samuel's father may have been John who married Catherine Tamplet. John's parents were Christian from Lindau, Germany and Elizabeth Ulrich from Switzerland.
Would this ring true with your research? Also, have you seen the book by Coleen Swantner on The Riddlespurgers: a colonial family of the South?
I look forward to hearing back from you.
