Lila, Joshua I. and Martha Pendergrass Riddle were my great-greatgrandparents and their son Hiram was a neighbor of my family when I was a small child. I grew up with four of his grandchildren.
The Rhea Co. history you mentioned has some errors due to mistakes in early census reports. Joshua and Martha did not have a daughter named Arlena, for instance. This must have been Olivia, listed in a later census as Mary O. Incidentally, I also once lived next door to several of your Foust cousins.
