The Joshua I. RIDDLE family history was written by Tom Morgan and Bettye J. Broyles and it appears in the "History of Rhea County, Tennessee", page 351. It says (quote) "Joshua Igou RIDDLE, son of Thomas and Mary (Igou) RIDDLE, was born on June 26, 1814. His wife, Martha, was born on November 28, 1819. They probably were married in Bradley County about 1835, but had moved to Rhea County by 1850, where he was working as a blacksmith." Further - "Joshua I. RIDDLE died on August 15, 1874, and in 1880, Martha was living with their son, Hiram. On April 13, 1886, she died and was buried beside her husband in Lone Mountain Cemetery." I'm sorry but do not find her maiden name.
