Hi Jean

I've come across a Matthew Riddell who spouse was supposedly named Jessie Fraser and their daughter Mary Riddell who was born in Lanarck in 1856. Mary married a Thomas Lefroy Holmes in Brisbane Queensland Australia in 1875. I don't know how they arrived in Australia, and I don't know if it's your Mary. Let me know if you think it is. Mathew was here with Mary, but I don't know about Jessie. I can search the cemetry records to find out if need be.
