I know there's a tombstone for Aquilla Riddell here in Estill Co, my brother found it years ago but I've never been to the location. I don't have a Riddell line but this line has always intrigued me for some odd reason. I've been to Robert Riddell's gravesite, it's right behind Oak Tree Inn here just out of Irvine on HWY 52 west, and I thought maybe Robert & Aquilla might have been brothers but without some documentation suggesting as much, I was afraid to make the statement that they were brothers. I know this line intermarried some, they also married into a Kirby line, I was wondering if that might have a connection before KY. I would like to see any documentation for Aquilla (I know there was an inventory for him when he died, there appears to have been a large bill for alcohol and I was wondering if this was used as a drug to soothe pain caused from a disease such as cancer, one just never knows until you find something that stipulates something else). However I don't remember there being a will for Aquilla. Anything you might have I would appreciate seeing, you may have more on him than I do. Thanks for replying to my post. Diana
