Phil, I can't help you with the information that you just gave me but maybe I can once you find more information on your ancestors. It's definetly not a lost cause, you will be able to find a ton of information on line as I have. I will keep your email address and you keep mine for future references. I would think that there is a relationship being that we are from the same area but you never know. My Riddell's came to Detroit between 1875-1877 from Canada and before that, Scotland. There are also Riddell's from Ireland I think. Are you just starting your search?
