I am trying to find written proof that Richard C PRICE, son of Crabtree PRICE & Linnie [CECIL], was the father of Thomas Witton PRICE born Nov 1855 in TX.
Richard married Mary Elizabeth [PARR] 27 Feb 1840 in Greene Co MO

The obituary of Richard & Mary's daughter Willy Ann, 18 Jan 1934 Dallas Co Tx, names surviving sister "Mrs Mollie PRITCHETT." This Mary Dorinda [Price].
The 1870 Grayson Co Tx census shows Richard & Mary's oldest daughter Annie "Addie" [Price] Scarbrough with her unmarried sisters Virginia Price and Mary Price living with she and her husband.
The 1880 Montague Co Tx census shows Mary Elizabeth [Parr] Price's brother, Berryman Thomas Parr Jr, with his nephew Tom Price, Tom's wife Lucy [Bailey], and their infant son James Richard born 24 Apr 1880 living in his household. This IS Thomas Witton Price. NOTE - I inserted full names for identification - they were not listed as such on this census.
The 1900 Jefferson Co OK census shows Richard & Mary's daughter Virginia [Price] Fisher's daughter, Clara, living with Thomas Witton PRICE and named as his niece.
Also the 1910 Dallas Co Tx census shows Richard & Mary's daughter Virginia [Price] Fisher's son, Julian Thomas Fisher, with his cousin William A Price, SON of Thomas Witten Price, living with him.
Finally, Wesley Bailey Price 1889-1982 SON of Thomas Witton PRICE born Nov 1855, left copius notes about his family. In these notes Wesley named his father's SIBLINGS as: I quote
Alpheus PRICE
Addie [PRICE] married Wesley Scarbrough
Virginia [PRICE] married William David Fisher
Willian "Willy" [PRICE] married William Riddell
Mollie [PRICE] married Adolph Pritchett
So! Since Richard C. PRICE died in 1859, there is no other solution to the above stated relationships and Thomas Witton PRICE born Nov 1855 HAS to be the SON of Richard C. PRICE and Mary Elizbabeth [PARR].
But I want some kind of direct LEGAL proof of Thomas' parents so I can document him fully for all Price researchers now and in the future.
