I am trying to find the parents of John Wilborn Rickman. He was born Jan. 13, 1840 (1880 Tennesee Census says in Alabama, but other census' give different states). He died Feb. 2, 1890 in Farmersville, Collin Co., Texas. He married:
1. Martha L. Hunt on June 22, 1860 and had the following childre:
Sarah Ann - b. Aug. 13, 1861 in Tennesee
James J. - b. April 2, 1862 in Tenn.
John H. - ca. 1869, Tenn.
Candis L. - ca. 1872, Tenn.
Robert Lee - Feb. 4, 1874, Tenn.
2. Alvira Eugenia McMenamy on Feb. 24, 1876 in McNairy Co., Tenn. and had the following children:
Joseph Monroe - Jan. 13, 1877 in McNairy Co., Tenn.
Samuel H. - ca. 1879 in McNairy Co., Tenn. (died young)
Pattie - ? McNairy, Co., Tenn.
Dee - ? Collin Co., Texas
Emma - ? Collin Co., Texas
Ladonia Lalie - Oct. 6, 1886 in Collin Co., Texas
Minnie Ola - Feb. 8, 1889 in Collin Co., Texas
I have a lot of information on Alvira McMenamy, but John is a dead end, so far.
