Thanks Jack, I guess this answers my question about Capt. Rickman surviving the war. The only thing I've found on him was the Perry Co. info you mentioned and his military record which contains very little info. I don't have any info to help you with on your Andrew Jackson Rickman query, although my great grandmother's brother was named Robert Jackson Rickman, I'm not sure where the middle name "Jackson" came from. For a relatively uncommon name, Rickman sure is a difficult name to research. Mine were in Marshall Co. then on to Weakley Co., Tn. and then on to Missouri for some. Where did you find Berry's birth and death dates? Thanks again, Dave Jones.
