Hi Cheryl:

Our Rickey Family Association, which has a central database of over 21,500 names and an active membership of over 500 persons can provide some help. Our records show a female child named Mel in 1850 IL Census as dau of Samuel B. Rickey & wife Natty or Watty (agreeably hard to read, but probably your Anna Melinda). We have some info on her siblings, Peter, John and later born children: Alice Mae, Oscar, Douglas and Elizabeth Florence. Peter died 1928 in Norton, KS. Please send your snail mail (US Postal) address for more info.
