I am trying to find information on a M. Anna Ricketts Orrick Crawford. My husband's greatfather's mother was Anna Ricketts, b. February 15, 1844 in McMinnville, Warren County, TN. She married an Orrick (believed to be T.E. Orrick) and had two sons, John and Great-Grandfather Charles George Orrick. T.E. died at the Battle of Shiloh in 1865 so he cannot be the father of her two sons (born 1870 & 1874). DNA testing shows no connection with the Orrick line. She was also married to a William Crawford. She died January 04, 1920 in Cairo, Alexander County, IL. I have never been able to find her first husband or the father of her two sons. I found a 1880 Centralia, Marion County, IL census listing Anna Arrok (widowed) with son Charles living in the household with a Mary S. Ryans. 1900 Alexander Co, IL Census list William Crawford, Annie Crawford, John Orrick (son), and Charles Orrick (son). 1910 Alexander Co, IL shows her living with son Charles and his family.
