Charles Edward was my grandfather. He died in 1950. I do not know of an Adam E. Ricketts, but did see him on the 1880 census. I always thought my grandfather was the only son. He had several sisters, one of whom lived in the Union Bridge, MD area until she died. I also can't find when Adam and Eve came over from Germany. I'm still digging and will certainly inform you of any and all info I find. I know Adam and Eve, as is Sarah, are buried at Beaver Dam Church cemetery in Frederick County Maryland, about five + miles from my home. I have lived in Union Bridge Maryland all my life. And where do you live? Shirley
