The information I have on Jonathan (Peter's son) Ricketts differs slightly from yours, but I wouldn't guarantee it as my descendency derives from Jonathan's sister, Elizabeth. For what it is worth I have:
Jonathan Ricketts, dob 10 Aug 1776 in Virginia; dod 01 Dec 1858 in Bullitt, KY. I believe I have seen that he was married to a Shain.
Have you found any additional information on Peter Ricketts or his wife, Mary? I did find some land deeds which would confirm his relationship to our ancestors, but nothing much else about him. I have his children being born in VA, except for my ancestor, his daughter Elizabeth, who based on the 1850 & 1860 censuses, was born in PA (which makes no sense to me, but she was born at the end of the Revolutionary War & just a few years before Peter moved to KY, so maybe she was born on the way to KY??).
