I'm eager to learn more about Mary Ricketts (1786-c.1870), daughter of Edward Ricketts (1758-1833) and Millicent Green (1761-1828), of Maryland, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
I find evidence that Mary Ricketts in 1820 married Jackson McIntosh (1786-) and by him had A.J. McIntosh (1821-) and William McIntosh (1823-), apparently in Ohio.
However, I also have reason to believe that she (or perhaps another Mary Ricketts of similar age in that vicinity) married, in about 1805, William McIntosh (1784-), and by him had Sarah "Sally" McIntosh (1805-1879).
Can anyone help to shed more light on either of these marriages and help me clear up the confusion? Thanks!
