Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping one of you may have connections from the
past with the Went & Ricketts surnames, I have been sending this to other
Mailing Lists in the hope that I can find the descendants.
About 8years ago, A friend bought a "Lot" at an auction , in this lot was a
very
old photograph album, full of photo's.The Friend didn't want the photo's
just the album. I couldn't bear to see them thrown away, so I've kept them
all these years.I myself am now into Family History and realise that I may
just be able to return them to some Family member who would be over the moon
with them.I will give as much Information as I can, some are dated their is
one with an address on the back. They seem to be a very affluent Family .If
you recognise anything at all email me
Photo on a Postcard of Annette Rickets taken in Bristol May 29th 1914-
addressed to Mrs Ricketts,Glenroy Hall,St Michaels Road, Bournemouth
Also a Cracker of a photo taken at the Mayor of Bournemouths Ball 1902
stating Annette Ricketts was 4 years old, so Year of Birth 1898
A lot of the Photo's relate to Went and Rickets Families
Also included which is a good means of identification of the family involved
is this cutting from "The Times" Newspaper:Dated London-Saturday September
22nd 1894

Most of these photo's are Bournemouth, London, Bristol , a lot of them were
taken in the 1880's by Photographers in these area's
There are probably over 90 photo's here very important to someone,
All the best
