holy crap I'm a rackerby and my uncle is really into geneology, so i thought i'd look some up too. my dad said that we have no trace of our family before william rackerby was born in america in 1776, but that we were pretty sure it was changed to rackerby from rickerby once they came to america because there was a town called rickerby in england. ring any bells?
