Isle of Jersey Riccard, Riccarts became Maine and NH. Rickers

Hi, although the Ricker families of Maine and Nh. did migrate elsewhere, descendents of the German or other Europenon Rickers seem to confuse them. The Immigrant George Riccard, Riccarte changed his name to Ricker, but family was French, probaly originally from Normandy before they migrated to Isle of Jersey, a Channel Island with ties to England.
