Hi all!
I am new to all this, looking for information on my great-grandparents (and before). Conrad Rickard of Washington State married Jessie Goodhue of Kansas, they had 2 children, Howard Conrad Rickard and Bertha Helene Rickard. I know one of "Uncle H's" daughters (Murla?)was researching his side, my grandmother was B. Helene. She married Malvin Ellsworth Lawyer, they lived in Glendale and Laurel Canyon area of Los Angeles CA, he was a house painter. They moved to Big Bear Lake CA before I was born, their daughter Barbara Helene Lawyer was my mother. Any information or help is appreciated. I have newspaper clippings about an aunt "Minnie", married to an Ed St. Clair, well-known in her local community, lived well into her 80's. My Grandmother said they had Uncles who lived all over Washington and Canada, and one family story says that one of the great-grandfathers MAY have been married to a Native American woman.
