Richard Rickard of Mount Prospect
Prayers for Richard Rickard, 58, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, proceeding to St. Emily Church, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Born Sept. 7, 1949, in Evanston, he died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at home. Mr. Rickard was a member of Pipefitters Local 597. He was the beloved brother of Joseph Rickard, Russell Rickard, Eva (Brent) Wasicke, Elizabeth (Sean) McParland and Susan (Steven) Stedman; loving uncle of Melissa, AJ, Dana, Stacey, Sara, Alexa, Courtney and Joseph; and cherished nephew of Joan Lill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jean Rickard. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Walter Payton Liver Foundation appreciated.
