My Selina Rickard was born 28 March 1830 St. Columb Minor, Cornwall, England, and appears on the 1841 Cornwall census aged 11 years. This is the only information I have at this stage. I do not know if she married or even immigrated elsewhere. One of course needs to be careful with researching women. My inquiry was born Selina Rickard as distinct from a Selina "somebody else" marrying a Rickard and taking up his surname.
