Since I posted my earlier message I have been able to get a bit more information, although not a significant amount and I have learned more about the Powers that the Richmonds.
I repsonded to another thread where you said you thought Emeline was the mother of Samuel Powers. I have copies of 3 papers that your father sent to my uncle. One page was about Harrison, Jennie, and names of their children; another page was about Samuel (I believe that is incorrect as I think his name was Ai Seeley) and Emeline and their children; and the 3rd page was Oscar Richmond and Sarah Harris and their children.
He included some birth dates, death dates and names of some children's spouses, mostly from Harrison's family but I have found a little more info from census. You probably have these papers since they were from your dad. It had his name in the corner with Seattle Genealogical Society.
I have a couple of copies of typed pages Aunt Mate told to her son. Also, a volunteer at the museum of the Anamosa State Penitentiary emailed me an interesting photo of Harrison and his son Ray when they worked there.
If you're interested let me know. I didn't see an email address as it says hidden. I'm also very interested in whatever you have and are willing to share.
