Linda,

Thank you for responding to my posted message. My gr grandfather was Charles Richman, descended from Catherine DuBois and her ancestors. Henry was Charles' father. I live in Monmouth County,NJ. My mother, grandparents, gr grandparents, etc are buried in Deerfield and Friesburg. We go down to visit the cemeteries every summer. We'll probably be going in one day in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for the information about the Kingston, NY, Dubois family moving to So Jersey.
Richman was my mother's maiden name. On my father's side, was North - from Kingston, originally from John North, Farmington, CT where he founded the town in the 1600s.

My records show Isaac Mosier North, son of Albert, b. Aug 2, 1839 m. Ella DuBois in 1862 at Olive, NY, daughters were Anna, wife of Judge John G VanEtten and Hazel, wife of James Elgar of White Plains. Ella was the daughter of Peter DuBois. Isaac was superintendent of the Cornell Steamboat Company "and one of the best known residents of Ulster Co." He moved to Rondout in 1862 at 106 W Chestnut. (I have the obituary)

Do you, by any chance, have information linking Ella DuBois with the NJ DuBois family?

Thanks, Barbara
