Hi Shirley:I am not unthankful for your posting about Ann Richeson (or whatever). My computer has been very sick and I am just now able to thank you. This could be a match, as I have no definite date of birth for Ann - only that she was
32 in 1850.She could have been several months old when christened, so that's no problem. She moved to Springfield, IL, where she married on the 28th of October, 1841, Henry Yeakle. She died 22 February, 1893, aged 76.Her son was named Henry Richardson Yeakle, but the marriage clerk wrote her down as Anna Richison, so you can see that there has been a problem. Not only that, neither she nor Henry stated where their parents were born in the 1880 census.AARGH!! Henry was from Maryland and his family was, I believe, German, so maybe Ann was also.I note that this lady was christened Lutheran.So....'spossoble. Norma
