Clark Richardson (1802-1892) Memorial Card
I have a memorial card handed down through the family for Clark Richardson (1802-1892).The card is black with gold print. The back of the card has the printed words: "E. C. Stark & Co., Memorial Cards, 706 Chestnut St., Phila[delphia], PA."
The front of the card has Clark Richardson's name along with the words "Died March 26th, 1892. Aged 90 years, l month, 26 days."The card is illustrated with gold drawings of a flying bird with an envelope that says "In loving remembrance" in its beak, a Bible surrounded by leaves, and a flower-bedecked scroll with the poem:
We miss thee from our home, dear father
We miss thee from thy place,
A shadow o'er our life is cast,
We miss the sunshine of thy face.
We miss thy kind and willing hand,
Thy fond and earnest care,
Our home is dark without thee
We miss thee everywhere.
Does anyone know where this Clark Richardson was born and died?
Please see also my message #4784 titled "Clark Richardson of U.S. and Canada" in the Richardson forum.
