RICHARDSON _ Clifford William Passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Peace Arch Hospital. Predeceased by his mother, father and daughter, Grace. Survived by Shirley (wife of fifty years); children Tom (Saby and Amanda), Dale, Linda (Doug) Greensword, Heather (Darin) Holmes; grandchildren Ian, Sunni, Joseph and Violet Richardson and Dakota and Daniel Holmes; siblings Pat (Lyle) McGlashan, George (Joy) Richardson, Stan (Rose) Richardson; nieces and nephews Bob (Cindy) McGlashan, Diane (Gerry) Jerret, Renee (Erwin) Jacabo, Michelle Richardson, Rick (Jen) Richardson, James (Carin) Richardson, Debra (Al) Kunkel, Barbara Richardson. Born in Vancouver, BC on September 28, 1933 and resided 45 years in Calgary, Alberta, later retiring to Surrey, BC. Married March 20, 1955 and would have celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary March 20, 2005. He was a good salesman and industrial sales manager for Crane Supply Calgary 40 years. Cliff was involved with many clubs: President, Bowmont Junior Chamber of Commerce; Provincial President Alberta & NWT Junior Chamber of Commerce; and in the community, President Southwood Community Association, President Federation of Calgary Communities, President Fish Creek Association, Board Member Calgary Construction Association. Cliff became a Mason in 1983 and was Worshipful Master 1992, Lodge Renfrew #134, Worthy Patron Edith Cavell Chapter #25, 1989, 2002; became a member of the Shrine 1983; President of Directors Staff for many years; Temple Director 1987-88 and Chief Potentates Aid 1991. Presently he is Past President of Peace Arch Shrine Club and Treasurer of the Rob Morris Society. The highest pinnacle of his life was to become president of the Shrine Directors Association of North America April 9, 2005, but he didn't quite make it. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC V4P 1P3. Rev. Bruce Rushton officiating.
